InformationWeek magazine has named Progressive
car insurance to its annual list of the country's most innovative
users of business technology. Progressive was ranked on the InformationWeek
500 for its mobile
quoting platform, which gives consumers the ability to get
Progressive car insurance quotes with a mobile device. Currently, mobile
quoting is available in 40 states.

from their smartphone.

weather text alerts: Consumers can now receive advanced warning of
bad weather by signing up for free severe-weather text alerts at http://www.progressive.com/weatheralerts.

Enhanced access to important insurance information: Customers can now
access their VINs, policy dates, insurance coverages, and all vehicles
listed on the policy from their smartphones.
