The event, chaired by His Majesty the King Felipe VI, aims to raise awareness on the current economic situation in Spain

Madrid, January 12th 2015. Prosegur, a leader company in the private security sector worldwide, participates for the fourth consecutive year in the V edition of Spain Investors Day, an international financial meeting that brings together about 40 large Spanish companies and international investment groups. The event, chaired by His Majesty the King Felipe VI, starts tomorrow 13th of January at the Ritz Hotel in Madrid and aims to boost the Spanish economic activity in the world.

During the conference, the Company will discuss its business model and growth strategy to international investors. Over the past year, Prosegur has strengthened its position globally, with new branch offices in Portugal, Australia, India, Peru and Brazil. In the latter country, the Company is the only corporation in the private security sector operating throughout the country. Furthermore, Prosegur has also introduced a new line of business focused on cybersecurity, as well as new services that offer comprehensive security solutions and advanced models of outsourcing for cash management.

The Company, with over 150,000 employees and 400 offices in 17 countries in Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific, continues working to maintain its leadership in the sector in the countries where it operates. To this end, Prosegur formalized in June a syndicated loan of 400 million euros for a period of five years. Moreover, it has also renewed the credit rating of investment grade 'BBB stable' from the rating agency Standard & Poor's (S&P).

Throughout Spain Investors Day, the government and regulators will analyze the current developments in the Spanish economy with investors. In this regard, the meeting will be attended by the Minister of Economy and Competitiveness, Luis de Guindos; Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism, José Manuel Soria; Secretary of State for Economy and Trade, Jaime García-Legaz; Secretary of State for Finance, Miguel Ferre and the Governor of the Bank of Spain, Luis María Linde.
This event confirms the strong interest of international investors in Spain, which will be also attended by the main listed companies in our country, representing the sectors of food, infrastructure, banking, automotive, energy, technology and insurance, among others.
