ProSiebenSat.1 Media is one of Europe's leading media groups. Net sales (not including sold divisions) break down by activity as follows:
- operation of free TV channels (80.2%): 4 German TV operated as of the end of 2012 (SAT.1, ProSieben, Kabel 1 and Sixx). The group is also involved in audiovisual production;
- other (19.8%): development of Internet sites, publishing of mobile and Internet content, supply of interactive services, operation of pay TV channels, operation of radio stations, etc.
Net sales (not including sold divisions) break down by source of income into sales of advertising space (83.6%) and other (16.4%; sales of publications, audiovisual rights, multimedia services, etc.).
Net sales (not including sold divisions) break down geographically as follows: Germany (87.7%), Austria and Switzerland (8.2%), the United Kingdom (1.1%) and other (3%).
