On Saturday, June 6, 2015, Leadership Newark, a fellowship program for professionals, will host the Second Public Policy Summit at the Paul Robeson Campus Center at Rutgers University-Newark. The theme, Newark In Action: Educate. Engage. Empower. allows stakeholders to have in-depth discussions about education and public safety with industry experts and advocates.

"Our second Leadership Newark Public Policy Summit focuses on education and public safety. It will give Newark stakeholders a forum to debate and share knowledge about the ways these two critical issues are having an impact on Newark and other urban communities," said Celia King, Chief Executive Officer of Leadership Newark, a two-year fellowship program for qualified professionals committed to the Greater Newark community. The program provides a forum for participants to debate and discuss public policy issues, which directly impact the community.

The Lead Newark 2015 Public Policy Summit will be held on Saturday, June 6 in the Paul Robeson Campus Center at Rutgers Newark, 350 Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Tickets to the Summit cost $60 and include lunch.
