In this newly created role, Mullery will report to Lori Fouché, president of Prudential Annuities, and join her senior leadership team, effective today.

Mullery brings more than 25 years of financial services experience to Prudential. At BlackRock Asset Management, he served as managing director of the Retail Financial Institutions Group, where he had overall responsibility for leading their insurance sub-advisory business including sales, product development and administration.

Before joining BlackRock in 2012, Mullery served as president of the distribution arm for Guggenheim Partners – Security Benefit. He has also held positions of increasing responsibility at AXA Equitable, Fred Alger and Company, and UBS PaineWebber.

Mullery received his undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton and is a past member of its Board of Trustees. He holds his NASD Series 63, 65, 7 and 24 licenses.
