Prysmian : is the “Best Italian Multinational Company in Singapore”

The outstanding achievement was won during 2016 ICCS Business Awards ceremony

Prysmian Group has just been named by the Italian Chamber of Commerce based in Singapore as 'Best Italian Multinational Company in Singapore' at the 2016 ICCS Business Awards ceremony, an annual event organised by ICCS to honour the best Italian companies in the region.

Paul Atkinson, Prysmian Group CEO Asean, received the award from the Italian Ambassador Paolo Crudele during the ceremony held at Singapore's National Gallery. Atkinson said: 'For over 100 years, Prysmian Group has been a leading manufacturer of cables, energy and telecom infrastructure. We are delighted to win this award and are proud of the longevity and flexibility of our products and services. Most notably, we have recently secured two new contracts from two separate Singaporean companies, Singtel and NetLink Trust, worth a total of around $35 million for the supply of optical cables.'

Jonathan Sloam, Prysmian Group's Business Director Asean, newly arrived in the region, commented: 'It was really nice to meet so many Italians and feel their passion for Italian products.
