PSI Software : presents new software developments at the CIGRÉ 2018 in Paris

Berlin, 13 August 2018 - PSI Software AG is presenting its latest software solutions from the fields of network control, workforce management, network utilization management and smart technology for smart grids from 26 to 31 August at the international high voltage conference CIGRÉ in Paris (Palais des Congrès, booth 282).

For energy providers, the network control system PSIcontrol will be demonstrated with the latest functions for a powerful network operation at all levels of the grid. Furthermore, the workforce management system PSIcommand is being presented. PSIcommand supports central and local personnel in the processes of maintenance, construction and disposal of all infrastructures. Mobile devices guarantee an even more efficient and safer working environment.

In addition, visitors can also inform themselves about the unique autopilots for network control. The Security Assessment and System Optimization (SASO) module provides transient stability examination of the energy grids, applying the integrated functionality dynamic security assessment following sudden changes in the voltage and amperage in the electrical supply network. The system solution in version 2.0 increases the security of supply with a transparent, discrimination-free access to the capacity market.

Within the training system, scenarios will also be demonstrated to show how to master critical situations sovereignly. As a further, special novelty, PSI demonstrates a connection between the intelligence in the asset transformer and the intelligence in the control system in order to achieve higher workloads.
