Jakarta, 6 April 2014 - Bank Mandiri is committed to supporting the successful holding of the legislative elections on 9 April 2014. Consequently, the Bank's offices will be closed for the day so as to allow all employees to cast their ballots.

"In line with Bank Indonesia's decision to suspend clearing operations and so as to support the success of the elections, we will be closed on 9 April," said Bank Mandiri Corporate Secretary Nixon L.P. Napitupulu in Jakarta on Sunday, 6 April.

However, Nixon continued, Bank Mandiri's electronic networks, such as ATMs, and internet, mobile, SMS and phone banking would be functioning as normal. Currently, Bank Mandiri customers can conduct transactions through more than 12 thousand Mandiri ATMs throughout Indonesia.

"Our highly trained technical support teams will be monitoring our ATMs 24 hours a day so as to ensure customer convenience in conducting transactions across the entire ATM network," Nixon said.

The 24-hour banking service can be used to access account information, make transfers, pay electricity, water, phone and credit card bills, pay for airline and train tickets, and pay taxes, education, insurance, pay-TV and internet bills, as well as to purchase mobile-phone reload vouchers.
