social responsibility efforts

"Both the importance and the understanding of sustainability has grown dramatically over the past decade and a half"

(September 12, 2014 - Newark, NJ) - Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) was named to the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index for the seventh consecutive year. The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) selects leading companies based on the quality of a company's strategy, management and its performance in dealing with opportunities and risks deriving from economic, environmental and social developments. PSEG was the only utility company in the tri-state area to be named to the list.

"The nature of our business is to constantly plan for the next generation's energy needs," said Ralph Izzo, chairman, president and CEO of PSEG. "That's the very definition of sustainability.
