-- 7,200 customers remain without power following last night's severe thunderstorms which brought down trees and power lines throughout PSE&G's service territory. Most of the outages are in Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Mercer counties.
-- PSE&G crews will work throughout today to restore power with full restoration expected by midnight Wednesday.
-- To see the number of outages by county and municipality, select the Summary tab then the Outage by County-Municipality link at www.pseg.com/outagecenter.
-- Customers can more easily track the status of power outages using PSE&G's enhanced Outage map, which provides more detailed information about outages and when power will be restored. Customers can now log on to see:
- The location of the outage at the neighborhood level.
- The number of customers affected by the outage.
- When the outage was reported, and the time PSE&G expects service to be restored.
- The cause of the outage, if available, such as equipment failure or animal contact.
- During storms, the status of the job in the restoration process - whether crews are assessing the outage, making repairs or removing a tree.
-- Customers without power are encouraged to report their outage to PSE&G at 1-800-436-PSEG (7734) or by logging into MyAccount on pseg.com.
