The publity Performance Fund 6 sold the approx. 31,500 square metre shopping center 'Hansa Center' in Bottrop after just barely ten months. The landmark property was acquired in August 2016 and has already been turned around for a profit. The property is currently under development with publity having won numerous anchor tenants for the property.

The Bottrop Shopping Center 'Hansacenter' is currently being completely revitalized and is located in the city center on the Hansastraße between Berliner Platz, Altmarkt, Pferdemarkt and Kirchplatz, making it the eastern passage to the shopping area of the city center. The property also includes 178 underground parking spaces.

The legal advice on the transaction was provided by the law firm CMS Hasche Sigle with a team led by the lead partner Frank Schneider.

'Investors are also currently looking for investment opportunities away from the top locations in Germany. This demand pressure enabled a profitable sale even before the shopping center was completed. This enabled us to make optimum use of the value-added potential of this project development, 'says Frederik Mehlitz, manager of publity Performance GmbH.
