PVH Corp. [NYSE: PVH], the owner of the Van Heusen brand, today announced a partnership with non-profit philanthropic organization Career Gear, which provides professional clothing, mentoring and life-skills to help economically disadvantaged men, challenging consumers to #GiveAShirt. This holiday season, between November 3, 2014 and January 4, 2015, every time a consumer uses the hashtag #GiveAShirt on any of their social channels – Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, PVH’s Van Heusen division will donate a dress shirt to Career Gear, up to 10,000 shirts.

“The Van Heusen Institute of Style is dedicated to helping men across the country look and feel their best, and we are excited for a new chance to provide thousands of men with a head start on their career goals through our partnership with Career Gear,” said Mike Kelly, Executive Vice President of Heritage Brands Marketing for PVH. “With this socially focused campaign, we have an opportunity to rally our consumers and make a difference in people’s lives.”

Van Heusen spokesmen and football legends Steve Young and Jerry Rice will be joined by former New York Giants running back David Wilson to launch the campaign via a full slate of earned and social media activations.
