SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Questar Corporation (NYSE:STR) today announced executive promotions in two of its subsidiaries and its corporate group.

Effective June 1, 2015, Brady B. Rasmussen will assume the duties of executive vice president and chief operating officer (COO) of Wexpro, Questar's natural gas development and production arm. Rasmussen will replace James R. Livsey, who has announced his intention to retire. Currently vice president of administration for Wexpro, Rasmussen has been with the company for 20 years in various accounting, supervisory and management positions.

"He has shown tremendous leadership and ability as vice president, and will be able to continue to grow our development and production business as we expand into new business opportunities."

Effective immediately, Thomas C. Jepperson will assume new duties as COO, Questar Corporation. Jepperson has served in many positions in his 26 years with Questar, including general counsel and corporate secretary, and has held leadership positions in the areas of compliance, environmental health and safety, and human relations. Rasmussen will report to Jepperson.

Effective March 1, 2015, Colleen Larkin Bell, currently vice president and assistant general counsel, has been promoted to vice president and general counsel of Questar Corporation. With 25 years in Questar's legal department, Bell brings extensive experience and knowledge to the general counsel position. Bell will report directly to Ron Jibson, Questar chairman, president and CEO.

In other action, Questar announced the promotion of Vaughn Shosted to vice president, operations, Questar Gas Company. Shosted has 40 years of experience in various operations and managerial positions within Questar Gas. Shosted reports to Craig Wagstaff, executive vice president and COO, Questar Gas.
