WASHINGTON, March 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Radio One, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROIAK and ROIA) announced that Randy Hershoff has been named Vice President and General Manager of its Columbus, Ohio radio stations.

Randy is an accomplished manager with extensive experience leading teams in radio, digital television and print media environments.  Prior to joining Radio One, he was General Manager for ViaMedia (representing Verizon FIOS and Thames Valley Communications TV advertising sales) for three years.  He held other management positions at The Dispatch Group in Columbus, Ohio where he was a business development manager and at Greater Media WBOS-Radio, Clear Channel Communications and Brown Broadcasting Service, WBRU Radio.  He holds an MBA from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts.
