Ram Resources Limited ("Ram" or "the Company") is pleased to provide final laboratory results from follow up exploration work at the Merino and Romney Prospects, which are part of its larger Motzfeldt Project in South Greenland. The Company had previously released preliminary results (based on field XRF analysis) on 31 August 2011. Ram currently holds 51% of the Motzfeldt Project, with the right to move to 100%.

Merino and Romney Prospects

Romney is located in the Lejrelev Valley, about 3.5 km to the west of the Aries Prospect. Merino forms a steep-sided ridge at the north-eastern end of this valley, about 2.5 km to the north-north-west of Aries. These prospects lie within the central sub-area of Exploration Licence 2010/46 (See Figures 1 and
2).
The prospectivity of the Merino and Romney exploration targets were first identified during exploration carried out by the Greenland Geological Survey ("GGU") in the 1980s. This work was followed up by Angus and Ross Plc in 2005-6 who conducted some limited ad-hoc surface sampling. Ram believes that, based on the historical work and their close proximity to the Aries Prospect, both areas were worthy of further systematic surface sampling and ground radiometric surveys. This work was carried out during the 2011 field season in July and August 2011.
Rock chip surface sampling was carried out on profiles along the valley floor or sides at Romney, and along the ridge at Merino. A total 76 outcrop samples were taken in total, 53 on Merino and 23 on Romney. Highlights of the results are shown in Tables 1 and 2 below.

The best results are found on the lower third of the profile at Merino, with high grades found over a distance of about 400 m and apparently remaining open to the southwest. The best results are 6,051 ppm Nb2O5 and 757 ppm Ta2O5, and 4447 ppm Nb2O5 and 794 ppm Ta2O5 in two samples. The distribution of high ZrO2 and REO grades closely follows that of Nb2O3 and Ta2O2, with the most consistent area of high grades being at the south-western end of the Merino profile. See Figures 3 and
4.
A complete set of assay results for the REOs, Nb, Ta, and Zr at Merino is contained in Appendix 1.

Nb, Ta & Zr analysed by pressed pellet XRF, REEs analysed by ICP-MS

A complete set of assay results for the REOs, Nb, Ta, and Zr at Romney is contained in Appendix 2.
Assay grades at Romney are generally lower than at Merino, however a cluster of high grades for all minerals of interest are seen at the south-western end of Romney. See Figures 3 and 4.
Increased REO grades are seen at the north-eastern end of the Romney profile and at the south-western end of the Merino profile, suggesting that mineralisation may occur within 1 km between these locations. It was not possible to sample this area due to outcrop being covered by scree and float.

Compared to Aries, where alteration is very intense, Merino and Romney show lesser degrees of alteration. Romney also shows a slight increase in the presence of peralkaline microsyenite dykes (known to be REE-bearing elsewhere in Ram's licences) and pegmatites. It is of significance that several high grade samples are from relatively unaltered nepheline syenites and syenites, suggesting that mineralisation is not restricted to intense alteration as found at Aries.

Merino

Preliminary vs Final Results

As noted above, the Company released its preliminary results for the Merino and Romney Prospects on
31 August 2011, which were based on field assays using an Innov-x Delta 50 XRF on crushed samples.
These results were regarded as preliminary firstly due to the limitation of the Delta 50 XRF which is only able to provide results for Light REEs excluding Samarium and, secondly, the greater fineness of crushing and milling in a laboratory provides improved results. Laboratory analysis is also better controlled, and ICP-MS analysis for REEs is more accurate than XRF. Thus it was expected that the laboratory assays could be used with greater confidence than the field assays. Generally however the correlation between the field assays and the laboratory assays were good.
The results presented here in have been generated by analysis using lithium metaborate fusion followed by ICP-MS for REEs, which provided a full suite of REE results. Grades for Ta, Nb and Zr have been obtained by pressed pellet XRF analysis.

? Laboratory XRF analysis for Nb shows very good correlation to field XRF results, although the laboratory results are generally 20% higher.

? Laboratory XRF analysis for Ta shows reasonable correlation to field XRF results at lower grades up to around 100 ppm. Above this, the correlation becomes weaker. Laboratory results are on average 25% or more above field XRF results.

? Laboratory XRF analysis for Zr shows good correlation to field XRF except at extremely high grades.

Overall the comparison between field and laboratory analysis has shown that the use of XRF on crushed samples in the field can provide data that is reliable enough for confident real-time target generation and follow-up during a single field season, without the lengthy wait for laboratory results.

Summary

Rock chip sampling on the Merino and Romney Prospects during the 2011 field season has proved the presence of mineralisation for the targeted elements of Ta2O2, Nb2O2, ZrO2 and REOs. In both prospects there are zones of higher grade mineralisation that merit further investigation.
Ram Resources' Managing Director Mike Drew comments: "We are very pleased to confirm these new targets, and it is encouraging that attractive grades can still be found in rocks away from the main Aries target and, importantly, in lithologies that are less altered than those at Aries. This suggests that mineralisation can be found away from the major hydrothermal event that appears to have enriched mineralisation at Aries, thus increasing the prospectivity of the Motzfeldt Project as a whole, and opening up new targets that may have been overlooked by previous explorers".

Competent Persons Statement

The information in this announcement relating to exploration results is based on information reviewed and compiled

by James Gilbertson of SRK Exploration Services Ltd. who is a Chartered Geologist. Mr Gilbertson has sufficient relevant experience in the style of mineralisation and type of deposit under consideration to qualify as a Competent Person as defined in the 2004 Edition of the "Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral

Resources and Ore Reserves?. Mr Gilbertson consents to the form, presentation and context of results and

supporting information in this report.

Forward Looking Statements & Disclaimer

This document contains certain statements, which may constitute "forward looking statements". Such statements are

only predictions and are subject to inherent risks and uncertainties, which could cause actual values, results,

performance achievements to differ materially from those expressed, implied or projected in any forward -looking statements.

Estimates of mineral potential set out in this document are conceptual in nature and are not based on a Mineral Resource. It should be noted that there is currently insufficient information to define a Mineral Resource for the Aries prospect and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the determination of a Mineral Resource and potential quantity and grade is conceptual in nature.

Mining of Radioactive Minerals in Greenland

The Government of Greenland currently imposes a ban on the exploration and exploitation of radioactive elements where these occur at "above background levels" (as they do at the Aries Prospect). This prohibition includes mining of these elements as by-products. Background levels for the alkaline complexes in which the Motzfeldt mineralisation occurs has been stated by the Minister for Industry & Resources to be up to 60 ppm, average concentrations at the Aries Prospect are 80 to 100 ppm uranium and 100 to 120 ppm thorium. As it stands this law would prohibit mining at the Motzfeldt Project.

The Greenland government is promoting debate through a process of public consultation on the issue of mining uranium and other radioactive elements. Support for a change in policy has come from the South Greenland Municipal Council, major labour unions and some political parties. In October 2010, the Greenland government amended its Standard Conditions for Mineral Licences to allow companies that have delineated a resource that falls into this category to apply for approval to conduct feasibility, environmental and community st udies into projects that contain radioactive elements at above background levels. As a further indication of a possible change in policy the Greenland Government agreed in December 2011 to amend the conditions of an exploration licence held by

Greenland Minerals and Energy Ltd ("GGG") to include radioactive elements. This change may give GGG the

ability to apply for an Exploitation Licence that includes minerals such as uranium. The Company understands

however that the extraction ban for now remains in place.
