Randon wins in two categories at Brazil Awards 2011

Randon S.A Implementos e Participações won in two categories at the Brazil Awards 2011, held by IR Magazine, the premier international publication on investor relations, the Revista RI magazine and the Brazilian Institute of Investor Relations (IBRI), in partnership with PR Newswire. The awards honor companies and executives for excellence in communication with shareholders and investor relations best practices in Brazil.

Randon won the ‘Grand prix for best overall investor relations’ and ‘Best investor relations website’ awards in the ‘small & mid-cap’ category. It was also nominated in the ‘Best investor relations for individual investors’ category, and its Investor Relations Officer, Astor Milton Schmitt, was nominated in the ‘Best investor relations officer’ category.

The nominees, who stood out among the best IR professionals and the best companies across diverse categories, were selected based on an independent survey conducted by the Brazilian Economics Institute of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) among 146 analysts and institutional investors and 462 individual investors. The winners in each category were announced at the awards ceremony held on July 11 at Buffet Tôrres in Itaim, São Paulo.
