Randstad Holding nv announces it has joined the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) as a partner company. IOE is the recognized voice of business, with more than 150 business and employer organization members.

'Joining IOE is a logical step for Randstad', says CEO Jacques van den Broek. 'The global labor market is our playing field. Challenges like youth unemployment, international labor migration, job growth, and promoting inclusion and diversity in the workplace directly impact our clients, candidates and other stakeholders - we welcome a platform like IOE offers, to address these issues. Which is why we participated in one of the panel discussions during IOE's first employers summit in Bahrain.'

Annemarie Muntz, director Public Affairs at Randstad, President of Ciett and Eurociett and one of the speakers at the Global Employers Summit adds: 'Randstad plays a vital role in inclusion and diversity by finding sustainable jobs for women, and thus contributes significantly to increasing the participation of women in the labor market. By doing so we also create more flexibility for employees and employers alike, leading to a better work-life balance.'

Linda Kromjong, secretary - general of the IOE and master of ceremony at the Global Employers Summit in Bahrain says: 'We are very pleased with this partnership with Randstad and are convinced that the knowledge and experience of Randstad will complement the employers organizations knowledge and inform further policy development.'
