Randstad CEO Jacques van den Broek is one of the speakers today at the session 'Skills and the Future of Work' at the OECD Forum in Paris dedicated to the opportunities and challenges of digitization in the labor market. Randstad has strengthened its strategic relation with OECD by increasing its sponsorship, becoming a gold sponsor as of the OECD Forum 2016, held May 31 and June 1 in Paris.

Digitization is an important fundamental shift impacting the world of work, now and in the future. The Forum focuses on potential scenarios regarding the future world of work, how digitization is shaping the labor market, and what the implications are on skills and labor market policies.

Jacques van den Broek, CEO Randstad, comments: 'The future of work will bring radical change for talent, companies and society, a change where the digitalization is disrupting many traditional approaches from education to employment; we all need to be prepared, start today by having an agile plan, act on it and adapt. This is not only the responsibility of the individual but also of companies, educational institutes, governments and policy makers.'

Held today in Paris to coincide with a Ministerial meeting on Labor and Employment, the Forum will bring together over 300 participants including key academics, Labor and Employment Ministers, entrepreneurs and leading representatives from the business sector and trade unions.
