Today the results have been announced of the 2016 Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) review. Randstad is proud to be included again as a member in the Professional Services industry of the DJSI world and DJSI Europe indices. Launched in 1999, the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) recognize the leading companies in each industry sector for responsible economic, environmental, and social performance.
The areas where Randstad was assessed as best in class by RobecoSAM are Customer Relationship Management and Labor Practice Indicators and Human Rights. Randstad CEO Jacques van den Broek comments: 'I am proud that, in the context of sustainability, our efforts in labor practices, human rights and customer relationship management are considered best in class and that we continue to be included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index. It shows that our mission of shaping the world of work contributes to a more sustainable world.'
Since the introduction of its core values, Randstad has aspired to grow sustainably, the aim being to safeguard the business and its long-term viability, while taking the interests of all stakeholders into account, and making the business increasingly relevant to all parties involved. This aspiration is clearly reflected in Randstad's core value of 'simultaneous promotion of all interests'.
