Raphael Michel SA is a France-based company engaged in the selling and marketing of wine. The Company selects and purchases red, white and rose wines from cooperatives and winegrowers, which are then stored, filtered and aged in the Company's own cellars, before being sold on to merchant bottlers, wholesalers and importers, and cellar keepers. Raphael Michel SA specializes in French wines from the Rhone Valley, Provence and Languedoc Roussillon regions, including both appellation wines and table wines. The Company works in partnership with wine cooperatives to source its wines and also directly owns some vineyards, including Domaine Les Bourdeaux, Domaine Bellencontre and Domaine de la Canarde. Raphael Michel SA also distributes wines from Chile, where it acts directly as a winemaker, and from Argentina, where it is involved as a wholesale dealer.
