Mezhdurechensk, 4 May 2012 - OAO Raspadskaya (MICEX-RTS: RASP) informs that a new face 4-9-23 (seam #9) at Raspadskaya mine received an approval to be put into operation.

On May 3, 2012 the first stage of the new face 4-9-23 with industrial reserves of 2 537 thousand tonnes of coal was put into operation. On April 18, 2012 the new face 4-9-23 (seam #9) was commissioned into operation (stage I) according to the "Regulations on the commissioning of hazardous production facilities", which was agreed by Rostekhnadzor.
