Subject: Capital Increase of an Associate

Attention: President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand

Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding Public Company Limited (the "Company") would like to inform the Stock Exchange of Thailand that on 2?1h September 2016, Berkprai Cogeneration Company Limited (an associate which the Company holds 35 percent stake through Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Company Limited) has increased its registered capital by Baht 1,231 million by issuing 123.10 million new ordinary shares, valuing at Baht 10 each. (Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Company Limited's proportion is 43.085 shares, or equivalent to Baht 107.71 million.) The increased capital is paid-up at Baht 2.50 per share. As a result, Berkprai Cogeneration Company Limited's registered capital is increased to Baht 1,331 million. The purpose of the capital increase is to use in construction of a power plant project which is in development.
