RAYMOND JAMES INVESTMENT BANKING A FINALIST IN 15
M&A ADVISOR AWARDS CATEGORIES, MORE THAN ANY OTHER FIRM

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - M&A Advisor named the Raymond James Investment Banking practice a finalist for 16 awards spanning 15 separate categories for its 13th annual M&A Advisor Awards. The 15 different categories are the most category finalists of any firm.

The nominated deals and their respective categories represent a diverse array of advisory experience and M&A expertise including complex corporate carve-outs, cross-border transactions and traditional recapitalizations with leading financial sponsors. Specific deals are named as finalists in top categories including "M&A Deal of the Year" and multiple "Deal of the Year" categories, including two deals named as finalists for Financial Services Deal of the Year.

The Raymond James deals and their respective finalist categories are:

  • Acquisition of the HVAC division ("Reznor") of Thomas & Betts by Nortek Inc.

    • Healthcare/Life Sciences Deal of the Year (Up to $250MM)
  • Growth Equity Financing of hyperWALLET from Primus Capital
    • M&A Deal of the Year (Over $50MM to $100MM)
    • Financial Services Deal of the Year
    • Professional Services Deal of the Year (B-to-B) (Up to $100MM)
    • Technology, Media, Telecom Deal of the Year (Between $10MM and $100MM)
  • Acquisition of the Oil Country Tubular Goods ("OCTG") assets of Northwest Pipe Company by Centric Pipe, LLC

The M&A Advisor awards recognize excellence in deal making, restructuring and financing and celebrate the contributions and achievements of leading firms and professionals. Winners will be announced at a gala event at The New York Athletic Club in New York City on Nov. 17.
