RAYMOND JAMES ADDS EXPERIENCED SOUTHEASTERN BANKER
TODD BARNES TO PUBLIC FINANCE GROUP

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Raymond James announced that Todd Barnes has joined the firm's Public Finance group as an Atlanta-based managing director focusing primarily on issuers in Georgia and South Carolina.

"Todd is a skilled banker with broad experience and deep knowledge across multiple sectors," said Rob Baird, executive vice president and head of Public Finance/Debt Investment Banking at Raymond James. "With 34 years of public finance experience in the Southeast, his familiarity with the region will help to provide innovative, quality financing solutions to municipal issuers across Georgia and South Carolina."

Barnes joins Raymond James from Robert W. Baird & Co. where he was managing director and manager of the Southeastern region for public finance. His experience includes more than $6 billion of lead managed bond financings for local governments throughout the Southeast region.

"It's a privilege to join one of the most active public finance practices in Georgia and in the nation," Barnes said. "We have a shared commitment to providing exceptional service and creative solutions to issuers. The synergies that will come from being a part of this team with the underwriting, sales and trading professionals like we have in Atlanta will be a tremendous benefit for my clients."

Consistently ranked as a top ten underwriter of municipal bonds nationally, according to Thomson Reuters, Raymond James has one of the largest public finance practices in the country with more than 180 professionals in 27 locations nationwide. The firm offers municipal issuers a comprehensive distribution platform with 24 dedicated municipal securities sales professionals and the largest middle market sales force of any U.S. broker/dealer.
