RAYMOND JAMES ADDS EXPERIENCED PUBLIC POWER BANKER,
CHAD LOIZEAUX, TO PUBLIC FINANCE TEAM

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Raymond James is expanding its public power and utility investment banking practice with the addition of Chad Loizeaux, who recently joined the firm as a senior banker. Based in New York City, Loizeaux will focus on growing the firm's presence in the public power and utility sectors, where Raymond James is already a key player. Through the first half of 2014, the firm ranked eighth in the nation in senior managed public power issues.

Loizeaux has more than 18 years of municipal finance experience primarily serving the investment banking needs of public power clients throughout the country. He has worked on over $11 billion of lead managed bond financings for public power, electric cooperative, transportation and Alaska issuers. He joins Raymond James from Wells Fargo after previous employment at Public Resources Advisory Group, Bear Stearns and MBIA. Loizeaux received a bachelor's degree in economics from Washington & Lee University.

"Chad's in-depth knowledge and successful experience delivering creative financing options to public power issuers throughout the country is a natural fit with our public finance practice and our plans for growth," said Rob Baird, executive vice president and head of Public Finance/Debt Investment Banking. "Adding a banker of his caliber to our talented team of professionals further strengthens our commitment to provide exceptional, specialized services for our clients."

Consistently ranked as a top ten underwriter of municipal bonds nationally, according to Thomson Reuters, Raymond James has one of the largest public finance practices in the country with more than 180 professionals in 27 locations nationwide. The firm offers municipal issuers a comprehensive distribution platform with 24 dedicated municipal securities sales professionals and the largest middle market sales force of any U.S. broker/dealer.
