IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 22, 2015) - Cylance, the first predictive cyber security company that applies artificial intelligence to stop malware, and Raytheon|Websense, a leader in cyber products for commercial and government customers, today announced a partnership that extends Cylance's next-generation security technology to Raytheon|Websense customers.

Raytheon|Websense has embedded Cylance Infinity Engine, a next-generation malware detection technology engine, into its SureView® Threat Protection solution. The integrated solution provides unprecedented near real-time visibility into files as they move through customers' networks, reducing the time to find and thwart attacks.

SureView Threat Protection offers a new breed of threat protection designed to detect attacks of an unknown and unconventional nature through the use of Raytheon|Websense proprietary technology and partnerships with leading detection mechanisms, like Cylance's machine-learning based technology.

"The combination of SureView Threat Protection and Cylance's next-generation malware protection engine reduces attack dwell time -- the time from breach to containment," said Raytheon|Websense Chief Technology Officer Joshua Douglas. "This, in turn, minimizes business disruption and protects critical business assets."

"Cylance is thrilled to be working with Raytheon|Websense," said Cylance Vice President of Corporate and Business Development Joel Bauman. "Cylance and Raytheon|Websense have the same mission -- to truly protect our customers from cyber threats -- and the combination of Cylance with SureView Threat Protection provides unprecedented visibility and actionable intelligence on advanced and targeted attacks."

Raytheon|Websense's SureView product portfolio delivers end-to-end visibility across the enterprise that surpasses traditional dashboards and security alerts, enabling analysts to make decisions and take action. This broad spectrum of integrated solutions addresses a complex set of cybersecurity challenges, such as protecting against insider threats and advanced threats, verifying the integrity of system memory and applying an analytics platform to enable contextual awareness and cyber intelligence for real-time remediation.
