Realdolmen : on a winning streak?

We're nominated in not one, but two categories: best in change communication strategy and best in Infographic, #Rproud. The grand prizes will be awarded at the finale, on February 8, in Paris.

The potential winners

Given how rapidly technology changes, companies have to transform just as quickly. An organization has to reinvent itself in all areas in order to remain a relevant player in the market and to provide better support for its customers. Realdolmen's transformation puts people at the center of ICT. Because more important than the technology itself is the person behind that technology and how they engage it.

A transformation needs to be built on many sturdy pillars to be successful. The main cornerstone in our own transformation, including the repositioning and rebranding of Realdolmen, became internal communication. We utilize internal communication at three levels (strategic, tactical and operational) in order to truly set the desired changes in place and point everyone in the new direction. This turned out to be a good approach, as our change communication in support of organizational transition has been voted one of the best in Europe.

But that's not all; the accompanying infographic we used to explain our strategy in a clear and understandable way has become a favorite in Europe. This infographic laid out the reasons for the transformation to both customers and employees. Moreover, it's a visual way to reinforce the reasons for choosing Realdolmen as a partner. We also made a moving version of it in the form of a video. World-renowned competitors in this category, such as IKEA, tell us that the Realdolmen infographic is one of the best of its kind.

The only goal of all this was a successful transformation through which we, as a company, would take a big step forward. Recognition from a European panel is the crowning achievement of our work, of everyone's work. Because at Realdolmen we achieve nothing alone but everything together. To get there, together!
