Regency Centers, (NYSE:REG), a national owner, operator and developer of grocery-anchored shopping centers, has announced it has closed on the land for Phase II of its Northgate Marketplace development. The 17.8-acre (approximately 180,000 square feet) site, with a newly added plaza and gathering area, will be adjacent to the existing Northgate Marketplace in Medford, OR, anchored by Trader Joe’s, REI, Petco, and ULTA Beauty.

“Phase II will be a powerful addition to the already successful Northgate Marketplace center. Our incoming tenant lineup, combined with the proven merchandising strategies we’ve implemented beforehand, are shaping up to enhance this already fantastic location,” said Craig Ramey, Managing Director and Senior Officer for Regency Centers.

Incoming retailers include HomeGoods, The RAM, DICK’S Sporting Goods and Field & Stream.

The RAM, one of the most successful tenants from Regency’s own Grand Ridge Plaza, will bring their unique “Deluxe Tavern” concept to the new development at Northgate Marketplace. Started in 1995, they began brewing their own beer and were strong contributors to the growing craft beer industry. With over 100 medals from institutions like the NABA and GABF, they look to celebrate their brewers’ ingenuity each and every day.
