Asset Manager announces major hire for Regional REIT mandate

London & Scottish Investments (LSI) today announce the appointment of Simon Marriott to the position of Investment Director. Simon will join the main LSI board and work closely with Chief Executive Stephen Inglis on Regional REIT.

Simon joins LSI with over 30 years' experience in the property industry, most recently at Cromwell Property Group (formerly Valad) where he was of Head of Investments and UK Real Estate. In that role he was responsible for approximately £1 billion of investment, development and bank workout mandates across the UK, as well as investment across Cromwell's European platform.

Prior to Cromwell, Simon held a number of senior roles including Director Real Estate transactions at PwC, Senior Vice President Managing Director Investments at Oxford Properties and Head of Separate Accounts at Invista REIM, managing funds with an AUM of over £2.5 billion.

LSI is the asset and property manager for Regional REIT, the UK regional office and industrial focused REIT. As a result of an active two years since listing in November 2015, including several large portfolio acquisitions, Regional REIT's portfolio has grown significantly to be in excess of £640m in value.
