François Momboisse, chairman of the FEVAD (French federation of e-commerce) joins the Dalenys board of Directors

The Board of Directors of Dalenys (ex Rentabiliweb) meeting on 28th October, 2015, unanimously approved the appointment of Mr François MOMBOISSE as a Company Director, proposed by its President Jean-Baptiste Descroix-Vernier.

This appointment has been confirmed by a decision of the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Shareholders that took place on 28th October, 2015.

François MOMBOISSE will be an independent Director, member of the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee.

He will be responsible, acting for Dalenys, for a task that aims to identify external growth targets in the payment industry in France and abroad.

François MOMBOISSE is Chairman of the FEVAD (French federation of e-commerce) since 2002.

François Momboisse was also Vice-President of the Conseil national du Numérique (French Digital Council) from its founding until 2012, and member of the Executive Council of the MEDEF between 2012 and 2015. Since 2006 he has also been a member of the CCF Board of Directors (Conseil du Commerce de France - French Trade Council) and since 2012 has been President of the European Association of online merchants 'E-commerce Europe'.

François is 58 years old, he graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and holds an MBA from INSEAD.

He spent the first 18 years of his career working at consumer goods manufacturers: Procter & Gamble between 1981 and 1992, before joining Reckitt Benckiser between 1992 and 2000, where he was the CEO for Belgium and then Chairman and CEO for France. In 2001, he joined the Fnac where he stayed 12 years, first as CEO of Fnac Eveil & Jeux, then Director of Fnac Music, Development Director for fnac.com, France and then International, and finally Director of Institutional Relations.
