Building on its success in Northern Kentucky, Republic Bank (“Republic” or the “Company”) will open a new full-service banking center later this year in the Rookwood area of the City of Norwood, along the fast-growing Interstate 71 corridor. The new location, represented by 4,000 square feet of class A office space, will be located at 4030 Smith Road in the Cornerstone at Norwood development.

“Republic Bank is very much in a growth mode, and given our success in Northern Kentucky, opening a new location in Cincinnati is a logical and exciting step,” said Republic Bank Chairman and CEO Steve Trager. “We already know from our experiences in Cincinnati that it is ripe for a strong community bank of our size. We look forward to extending friendly, local lending to the residents and businesses of the area.”

“Republic Bank is thrilled to open a new full service office in Cincinnati,” said Republic Bank Market President Tom Saelinger. “We have assembled a talented team of bankers, who reside in the local community and are ready to help businesses and consumers achieve their financial goals.”

Headquartered in Louisville, Ky., with 40 banking centers across five states and $4.2 billion in assets, Republic Bank is the largest community bank headquartered in Kentucky, and provides enhanced customer service through state-of-the-art Internet and mobile banking services. Customers can access their accounts 24/7 through their computer or their phone, tablet, or other mobile devices and they can even apply online for a new account or loan.

In addition to Saelinger, Republic's local management team includes Kevin Herthel, Senior Business Development Officer, and Jason Payne, Managing Director of Business Development.

“With our expectations of top-notch client service, Republic’s ‘roll up your sleeves’ culture positions us for growth in a Cincinnati market that is dominated by much larger regional and national competitors,” Saelinger said. “Our Company’s slogan is ‘It’s just easier here,’ which aligns with our mission of making banking simpler in a rapidly changing economic landscape.”
