After the planned combination of RHI and Magnesita at the end of October 2017, which will create the global refractory market leader, Simone Oremovic will become Head of Global HR. Additionally, she will be a member of the Executive Management Team (EMT) of the combined group. She has long-standing experience in international organizations.

Oremovic is pleased with her new function. 'To accompany RHI-Magnesita as Head of Global HR in this exciting time in regard to the merger will be a great challenge. Our goal is to further strengthen the position of RHI-Magnesita as an internationally renowned employer.'

Simone Oremovic will start her new function as of November 15, 2017. Michael Merzbach, previously Head of HR at RHI AG, will stay in the Group and focus on the operational implementation of integration measures of the combined group.

Simone Oremovic looks back on more than 19 years of experience in miscellaneous (leadership) positions in the fields of HR, among others at GE, Telekom Austria, IBM and Shire/Baxter. She gained her working experiences in Austria, Ireland and the UK. Simone Oremovic is married and a mother of two daughters, age 9 and 10. She studied at the European Business School in Paris, London and Munich and also has a diploma from Vienna University of Economics and Business.
