Phase-II-contract (No. 09 / 2018) for RIB Software SE: Mandatory implementation of the iTWO eTender platform in the State of Berlin

Stuttgart, Germany, 18 June 2018. The Berlin Senate has passed a Senate resolution in the context of the implementation of public procurement law, stipulating that essential parts of the administration are obliged to use the existing publication and award platform www.berlin.de/vergabeplattform (iTWO eTender public) for all tenders for construction, supply and services within the framework of electronic procurement. More than 100 state institutions, such as courts, prisons, museums, theatres & stages, schools, day care centres, universities and transport facilities will use RIB's solution for the digital processing of their tenders.

Under the leadership of the Senate Department for Urban Development and Housing, a detailed implementation and training concept has been developed and already implemented together with RIB.

Erik von Stebut, Managing Director/Authorized Signatory of RIB in Germany comments on the agreement as follows: "Companies from Berlin, Germany and all over Europe will in future be able to process orders with a total volume of several hundred million euros completely digitally, from the search for the order, through the award documents and bids, right up to the commissioning.
