Cooper Corporation Pvt. Ltd - one of India's leading engine manufacturers - and Ricardo today underscored their longstanding collaboration by announcing their intention to jointly develop a new line of cutting edge Cooper products ranging from 3.5 KVA to 1000 KVA, with the entire range available in both Diesel and CNG versions.

The successful longstanding association between Cooper and Ricardo has made Cooper products years ahead of their competition in-terms of innovative technologies, total cost of ownership and durability of products. Working together with Ricardo, Cooper is the only company in India who has made 52 engine variants in six years including diesel and gas versions. The new Cooper engines will power applications for diverse sectors including automotive, gensets, marine, defence, construction equipment and agriculture. 

Speaking about the association, Mr. Farrokh N. Cooper, Chairman and Managing Director, Cooper Corporation Pvt. Ricardo UK, one of the leading independent technology and strategic consulting providers to the world's transportation and clean energy industries, has designed this world class engine family (2, 4 and 6 cylinder engines) for Cooper Corporation Pvt. Ltd. Cooper engines are a great example of technology transfer and collaborative R&D between UK and India. Ricardo will be responsible for the overall design of the engine and Cooper will develop all components for the engine, assemble and also conduct the required engine tests.
