20th Century Fox and Rightster's strategic partnership around YouTube strategy, audience development and influencer marketing expands from 7 to 17 markets

17.04.15 20th Century Fox has extended its partnership with Rightster, the leading global multi platform network for online video. The extended partnership will see Rightster fully manage Fox's branded content across 10 additional territories in Europe, and internationally, to leverage the studio's theatrical success.

Rightster currently manages 20th Century Fox's branded content across seven territories in Europe and Latin America, including the UK. This two year deal includes Rightster taking additional responsibility for new regions, which it will serve locally through its growing network of international offices.

As part of the two year deal, Rightster will manage the deployment of Fox's YouTube strategy for 35 of its channels including 20th Century Fox, Fox Family Entertainment and Fox Searchlight. The activity will include channel management, audience development and influencer collaboration in these regions. Rightster will use its channel-agnostic approach to handle this activity, giving Fox access to talent, influencers and creators from all social platforms across the global market.

Kieran Breen, President of International Marketing 20th Century Fox, comments: "The Rightster partnership has helped to significantly increase Fox's international reach on one of the most important global video platforms, YouTube. We're pleased to be extending the scope of our work with Patrick and the team and look forward to the on-going collaboration between our joint regional teams."

Patrick Walker, CEO of Rightster, comments: "The extension of the partnership with Fox is testament to the close working relationship we've established with their international teams over the past year, and we're delighted that we can expand this collaboration to more markets in the Nordics, Eastern Europe and Africa. At Rightster, we've focused on global solutions for complex international brands and rights holders, which has taken years to establish. With deals like this, we learn more every day and we're able to contribute more to one another, helping us make the partnership greater than the sum of its parts."
