What:

At the exclusive gathering for high-level IT business leaders and their technical teams, the ONUG 2016 conference, Riverbed will demonstrate its revolutionary application-defined SD-WAN solution, SteelConnect, showcasing how it delivers a new experience for designing, deploying and managing distributed networks.

Industry analyst projections indicate enormous pent-up demand for a better approach to networking than the hardware-bound, hard-coded, inflexible, and error-prone networks which haven't changed much in 20 years. Gartner expects SD-WAN uptake to grow from less than 1% of enterprises today to 30% adoption by the end of 2019[1], and IDC expects the worldwide SD-WAN market to grow from less than $225 million in 2015 to more than $6 billion in 2020[2].

Riverbed has taken a major step to lead the SD-WAN market with the April 26th announcement of Riverbed SteelConnect, which uniquely enables application-defined networking through business intent policies that ensure performance and provide the agility and efficiency enterprises need in today's cloud-centric and hybrid world. SteelConnect, is the industry's first and only product to unify network connectivity and orchestration of application delivery across hybrid WANs, remote LANs and cloud networks such as AWS (available today) and Microsoft Azure (later this year), with a complete line of WAN gateways, LAN switches, and Wi-Fi access points managed centrally with an intuitive graphical management console.

SteelConnect also provides complete visibility of all users and devices connected to a distributed network, and supports industry-leading NPM and APM capabilities from Riverbed SteelCentral natively integrated into the SteelConnect central management console.

Demonstrations:

Attendees will have access to how-to demonstration and videos showcasing different configurations of Riverbed's next-generation SD-WAN solution, SteelConnect, andwill also have the ability to test-drive these solutions.
