• Earns 100 percent on Human Rights Campaign Foundation's 14th Annual Scorecard on LGBT Workplace Equality

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Dec. 13, 2016) - Rockwell Collins has once again received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2017 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation. Rockwell Collins is one of 517 major U.S. businesses earning top marks this year.

'Rockwell Collins is honored and proud to be recognized by the HRC's Corporate Equality Index,' said Jeff Standerski, senior vice president of Human Resources at Rockwell Collins. 'Creating an environment that is inclusive and equitable for all of our people is something we take very seriously. Our goal is that every single employee feels comfortable and safe at work every day. Earning a score of 100 is meaningful validation that we're doing the right things for our people.'

The 2017 CEI rated 1,043 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBT-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive healthcare benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBT community. By satisfying all of the CEI's criteria, Rockwell Collins again has been recognized with a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.
