• STAR Award celebrates outstanding performance

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (June 5, 2017) - Bombardier Commercial Aircraft recognized Rockwell Collins' outstanding achievements in providing customer support on the CRJ aircraft program throughout the past year with its 2016 In-Service Supplier Top Achievement Recognition (STAR) Award. The STAR Award recognizes suppliers with performance scores of at least 90 percent in areas such as product performance, airline support and customer focus. Bombardier considers the award a testament to the value it places on building strong, lasting relationships with suppliers.

'It takes a lot of dedication and focus across the entire Rockwell Collins team and global support network to provide the level of support required to to receive an In-service STAR Award for the CRJ aircraft program from Bombardier Commercial aircraft,' said Rob Magill, director, Business and Regional Systems Customer Support at Rockwell Collins. Rockwell Collins was recognized for this honorable award at the Bombardier Commercial Aircraft's 2017 European Regional Review in Munich, Germany. Bombardier Commercial Aircraft also recognized twelve operators of its CRJ Series regional jets and Q Series turboprops with 2016 Airline Reliability Performance Awards.

Rockwell Collins also provides the Primary Flight Control Computer and MultiScan™ weather radar with predictive windshear as standard equipment on the C Series family of aircraft, and a single or dual Head-up Display as an option. Other Bombardier aircraft that feature Rockwell Collins systems as standard-equipped or as an option include the Global 5000, Global 6000, Global 7000, Global 8000, Challenger 350, Challenger 650, CRJ and Q Series.
