'I am very pleased our growth once again outstripped that of the global semiconductor market, which grew by approx. 8% in the first half of this year. It is important furthermore that there was growth in all our sectors. Furthermore, the increase of orders is encouraging. The strength and dedication of our employees gives me confidence for the future,' said Philip Nijenhuis, CEO of RoodMicrotec.
Based on the developments in the first half of 2011 we anticipate, in spite of the macro-economic slowdown and uncertainty, and barring unforeseen circumstances, an increase of sales in the second half of 2011 compared to the second half of 2010. In line with our strategy we are focusing strongly on improving the operating result and net result.
In the long term, we consider an average annual sales increase of between 5% and 15% to be realistic.
