Rusagro Group of Companies informs that on July 16, 2018 an outbreak of African swine fever (ASF) has been detected at one of six sow farms in Belgorod region. Within a short time, all animals located at this sow farm will be liquidated and the site will be cleaned.

The sow farms are used for young pigs production not for commercial pigs. All other sites of the Company, including commercial farms, continue to operate on schedule but with increased safety control. ASF virus is not dangerous for human and does not influence product quality.

Rusagro estimates possible losses in production and sales as not material. The pause in sow farm operations will allow the Company to renovate the building.
