Rosenbauer International : Focused support for German market

Rosenbauer focuses the local market presence in Germany and combines sales and services for all product areas. The production of fire-fighting vehicles in Luckenwalde and of aerial rescue devices in Karlsruhe remains unchanged. In addition, adjacent properties in Luckenwalde are being taken over for future capacity expansion.

Ronald Reisinger and Norbert Wieser together take over the management of Rosenbauer Deutschland GmbH. Michael Kristeller remains the manager of the aerial rescue manufacturer Rosenbauer Karlsruhe. Klaus Tonhäuser is stepping down from his position as Managing Director of Rosenbauer Deutschland GmbH and is leaving the company for personal reasons.

Ronald Reisinger has been with Rosenbauer since 1993 and working on the German market for almost 20 years. Most recently, he was responsible for the sales of all products in Germany. Norbert Wieser, who was appointed Commercial Manager of Rosenbauer Deutschland in July, most recently headed up the Global Corporate Finance area. As Area Manager, Christian Kleebauer takes over the responsibility for business operations in Central and Eastern Europe, and provides the operational connection with headquarters.

With this restructuring, Rosenbauer is setting the course for reaching the strategic goals. 'The focusing of sales and services allows us to manage the German market in an integrated manner,' underlines the CEO of Rosenbauer International AG, Dr. Dieter Siegel. Overall, the new organization makes us much more efficient and more focused on the requirements of our customers. The traditional flat management structures remain unchanged.'
