Within the framework of its working visit to China the delegation of JSC Rosseti got acquainted with the production capacity of Shandong Power Grid Equipment Plant, located in Jinan city.

A visit to the largest subsidiary of the State Grid Corporation of China - Shandong Electric Power Equipment, JSC - was initiated by the Chinese party, within the framework of experience exchange in manufacture of facilities for the needs of power grid sector.

In May, 2014 JSC Rosseti and State Grid Corporation of China signed an agreement about their strategic partnership. The parties are, in particular, planning to pay a special attention to interaction in development of the smart grid, construct and upgrade existing energy facilities, manage the electricity sector to increase the level of safe operation and to sustainably develop power grids. Furthermore, the companies want to expand their cooperation in charging station technology.

On Wednesday there will be held the first meeting of the working group for management of operations of their joint venture (JV) created to implement various projects to modernise and construct electricity infrastructure facilities in Russia and other countries in Beijing.
