ROVI) announced today the signing of a multi-year license
agreement for Rovi guidance solutions including Rovi
TotalGuide™, G-Guide® and its interactive program guide
(IPG) patent portfolio with Sharp Corporation, the leading
consumer electronics brand in Japan, for Sharp television,
players and recorders worldwide.

recommendations to provide consumers with one destination
where they can access content seamlessly from the Internet
and from broadcast services. Rovi G-Guide is Rovi's
electronic programming guide for Japan, covering all
terrestrial and satellite data broadcasting.
