TCL Signs Multi-Year License Deal for Rovi Entertainment Discovery Patent Portfolio San Carlos, Calif., September 7, 2016 - Rovi Corporation (NASDAQ: ROVI) today announced the company has signed an intellectual property (IP) license agreement with TCL, the leading consumer electronics enterprise in China and the third largest TV manufacturer in the world. The multi-year deal will enable TCL to ship televisions in Europe, which feature advanced entertainment discovery technologies based on Rovi's intellectual property (IP).
