TORONTO, September 11, 2014 - For the 15th consecutive year, RBC has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, an annual review that recognizes the world's financial, social and environmental corporate leaders. RBC was also named to the 2015 DJSI North America Index. RBC was one of three Canadian banks named to the World Index, and one of five named to the North American Index.

These indices list those publicly-traded companies that create long-term shareholder value by embracing opportunities and managing risks stemming from economic, environmental and social developments. The annual review influences the investment decisions of asset managers who use the DJSI family as objective benchmarks for assessing sustainability portfolios.
