Royal Gold, Inc. (NASDAQ: RGLD; TSX: RGL) (“Royal Gold” or the “Company”), today announced that its Board of Directors increased the Company’s annual dividend for its shares of common stock from $0.88 to $0.92 per share, payable on a quarterly basis of $0.23 per share. The newly declared dividend is 5% higher than the dividend paid in calendar year 2015. Royal Gold has steadily increased its annual dividend every year since 2001.

The Board declared the dividend of $0.23 per share will be payable on January 22, 2016, to shareholders of record at the close of business on January 8, 2016.
