Royal Jordanian and Coca Cola/Jordan sign a marketing partnership 2014-08-11

Amman, August 11, 2014 - Royal Jordanian and Coca Cola Bottling of Jordan Co. sealed a marketing partnership whereby Coca Cola will offer a new, customized product that displays the logo of both companies. It will be distributed on board RJ planes and the Crown Lounge at Queen Alia International Airport, and also at big stores around the kingdom.

The proceeds from selling this product will be granted to the initiatives of both companies in the field of the social corporate responsibility and to serve the community, in addition to backing some local marketing campaigns.

The agreement was signed by RJ's Chairman of the Board and President/CEO Nasser Lozi and General Manager, Jordan and Syria at Coca-Cola IçecekEzel Agaoglu.

Lozi expressed satisfaction with the partnership with a well-established company like Coca Cola, saying that the two companies reached a fruitful agreement that is bound to advance the interests of both.

Lozi stressed that RJ and Coca Cola will work together to make this partnership a success, paving the way for continued commercial cooperation between the two big names in the Jordanian private sector.

Agaoglu said that this cooperation is part of the company's local strategy and its ongoing endeavor to support the Jordanian society. He added that Coca Cola is glad to seal this marketing partnership with the national carrier of Jordan.

Established in 1993 in Jordan, Coca Cola Bottling of Jordan is part of the Turkish Coca Cola Içecek, which is the bottler of Coca-Cola products in Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, as well as its home country of Turkey.

Coca Cola Bottling of Jordan plays an important role in the social responsibility toward the Jordanian community.
