RSA expands its referral vet network by signing 24 new partners

RSA, one of the UK's leading pet insurers, has confirmed the addition of 24 new partners to its nationwide referral vet network bringing the total number to 52.

The RSA referral vet network was created to help to deliver affordable pet insurance for RSA pet insurance customers. This expansion represents the completion of phase two of the network's development.

Enabling affordable pet insurance for customers

RSA underwrites pet insurance for over one million cats and dogs in the UK. The expansion of the network will enable RSA to continue to provide competitively priced products and will deliver a range of benefits for customers including:

  • enabling the highest standards of veterinary treatment and care at competitive costs;
  • maximising treatment available within policy limits for customers;
  • delivering first-class service proposition (underpinned by service level agreements including treatment timescales); and
  • encouraging network practices to bill RSA direct ensuring customers have less financial burden.

Expanded geographical range and specialist service

The network is being built in three phases over 2016. Network practices include multi-disciplinary centres (including five with direct links to university teaching hospitals), independent practices and a number of corporate-managed practices.
