RSA Insurance : Scott Egan joins ClimateWise insurance advisory council

RSA's group chief financial officer, Scott Egan, joins ClimateWise Insurance Advisory Council

Leading international insurer, RSA, has today announced that Scott Egan, RSA Group chief financial officer, has been appointed to the ClimateWise Insurance Advisory Council.

The council builds on the growing momentum following the COP21 global agreement reached in Paris in 2015 that limited planetary temperature rises to below two degrees centigrade. As part of the council, RSA will work together with regulators to fully understand the challenges and opportunities associated with the zero-carbon, climate-resilient transition and to identify where insurance can support other parts of the financial system in its response to climate risks.
