According to Atresmedia estimates, the total Ad market grew by 4 per cent in the first nine months of 2016. The company's revenue increased by 6.1 per cent to €740.2 million (January to September 2015: €697.9 million), while EBITDA was up by 26.7 per cent to €151.4 million (January to September 2015: €119.5 million). The net profit of Atresmedia for the reporting period was €101.5 million, up 46.4 per cent in the previous year (2015: €69.3 million).

Despite the competitive environment of sporting events on competing channels, Atresmedia recorded a total TV advertising share of 42.6 per cent in the period (January to September 2016: 42.5 per cent).

Atresmedia's family of channels achieved a combined audience share of 29.6 per cent in target group of viewers aged 25 to 59. Flagship channel Antena 3 achieved a 12.8 per cent audience share in the target group. At the same time, La Sexta reported average prime-time audiences for the January to September 2016 period of 8.9 per cent.
